Retirement Community
A retirement community is a very broad term that covers many types of housing for later life active adults, 55 years old and older, who still work or are retired. This type of community is designed for independent living in apartments, condominiums, villas, and/or single-family homes. They’re special facilities designed to cater to 55 year old and older active adults with many amenities such as:
- meals,
- activities such as swimming, golfing, hobbies, and other entertainment,
- transportation, and
- medical facilities, libraries, and other services.
There is usually a monthly fee for these amenities.
